im try make a tune for a freinds s4 he has a d box can i flash a m box file to a dbox?

Read read read, its all been covered. I'm still learning myself but the mods are over whelmed. Try learning the basics and reading the requirements and posting in the correct forum and you "might" get some help.

i kept reading and found no anwser its say it can be flashed but codes have to be changed. but no one seems to know what codes we are talking about.

Code out the rear o2s as described int he s4 wiki (do not forget to do ESKONF), then it'll be fine to flash the D-box with the M-box file.

I have tried this, but can't get it to work. It must be som other hardware differences, car doesn't start wit m-box file. no fault codes, also tried with immo off file in 95040
Any suggestions?

My bad, The problem was mpps not writing full file. Also put eeprom file from m-Box and now all is good
