Good evening !

I would like to ask you to rate the tune of my 2003 Audi A4 with 1.8T BFB engine.

I payed a chiptuner to tune the car at first, but after a few months, and how could it be different... the power was not enough anymore  Grin

So I searched for the right xdf and compared the original file with the mod file of my chiptuner.

With the file of my tuner on it, the car had the problem that it only reached 210 km/h because it knocked to strong and switched to LDRXNZK

So I decided to decrease LDRXN from 5000 rpm to 7000 rpm. Now the car is making 250 km/h !  Grin

But from 1000 to 4500 rpm I increased LDRXN for more torque. And it worked out pretty good !
The car runs great ! Unfortunately even with 98 octane gasoline VCDS tells me in block 20 that it turns back timing on all cylinders up to 4°. I don't have the feeling that it reduces the power and the ECU is not switching to LDRXNZK.
VCDS shows me 160% load request.

Today I deleted the catalytic converter but it made no difference at all....

IAT is at 40°C (~100°F) from 2000 to 4500 under full boost.
Over 4500 RPM the IAT is climbing to 70°C (~160°F)

The hardware on this car is stock.

Can you help me to solve this problem or have a look at my file and tell me what I can improve ?

BR Oliver

i am a beginner but:

looks like you are running out of fuel.
your injector on time is in the 20th which is very high.
airmass of 135 * 1,3 = ~175hp

your fuel pump is dead i think. based on professional chiptuning sellers homepage your car (163hp stock) should do +35hp with a stage1 chipping.

so i think you will be able to get 200hp out of it with a new fuel pump and your stock injectors.

yes its leaner than specified but 0.8 lambda is enough for pushing hard. and i see 156 g/s which is ~~~200hp
also retarding up to 6 degrees its ok

Yeah... I already recognized that. (Lambda values)

But my fuelpump has been exchanged 1,5 years ago.
So that should not be the problem.

I will change my gasoline filter and do an injector upgrade to 380cc (from the s3 model with 225 hp)

But then the engine permanently knocks, or doesn't it ?

If not, how do I do it ?
