i will appologise now just trying to get my head round immob defeats on vag me7 ecu's

i am using a clip on the epprom chip and can and write to it thats easy enough

my problem is the stage inbetween, i know you modifify 12 and 22 from 01 to 02

now i believe the checksum needs to be modified aswell (the last 4 digits of lines 10 and 20), how do i go about calculating these

ffff - sum of octets.
fffe - sum of octets.

line is increased by one, so naturally chksum is lowered by 1.
