I have 2 seemingly same Me7.5 ECUs. Part numbers and internals are the same. I dumped my stock ECU several times and compared the dumps to verify integrity. I also dumped the "stage 1" ECU from RocketChip I bought 2nd hand. I wanted to flash my stock ECU dump onto the 2nd hand ECU but Galletto always.gives me a "writing error" when I attempt to flash it to my stock dump. If I attempt to re-write the original dump from the 2nd hand ECU though it flashes perfectly fine every time. Any ideas??? Sorry if there's any grammar or typos... Writing this from a cell phone...

More info needed... What software numbers? Is one ecu in the car and another on the bench? Etc etc... The killer is in the details.

Both ECU's are on the bench. I will attach each dump in a little bit...

OEM is a dump from the ECU out of my car that I want to keep original. RocketChip is a dump from the 2nd hand ECU that I want to clone OEM over to.

Thanks, I'll try flashing some other bins to it and see.

I was only able to get photo's of the Rocketchip board for now. This is the one that I can't seem to flash with anything but the original bin.

There is no reason you can't flash something else over that. It is stock.

Are you trying to write the rocket dump?

Actually the rocket dump flashes fine. It was any other dump that I tried that wouldn't flash to it.

Just tried a few other bin's for that ECU (stock dumps that I took and also downloaded). Nothing will flash except the bin I pulled off it. Could there be something in the EEPROM preventing it perhaps?
