I Ran a log with vag Com today on my 2002 Audi A4 1.8T and i noticed that my boost is not going over 190 mbar on there. All that i have is an HKS airfilter on there. I know the turbo is spooling up because i can hear it and when i let off the throttle the diverter valve makes its flutter sound. And the more the turbo spools the louder the flutter. But i dont know why im not showing boost. the car's idle does dip like 50 or so RPM's When idling Which i think is the coolent temp sensor. i did run scans and it showed one thing coolent temp sensor at radiator outlet signal to small P1290-002- lower limit exceeded. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. And yes i plan on changing the sensor after the new year. But i also just noticed that the privious owner did the spark plug defouler on the down stream o2 sensor. Do you think that could be a problem. Cause i have seen this before and it seems like people do this to beat the P0420.

I think he just means the spacer (shit) trick.

Yes it was the spacer trick. And i will be replacing the temp sensor tomorrow and i think im going to just replace the o2 sensors while im in there. Also does me7 not work on windows 10 cause i try to open it and it just opens a little cmd window for a sec and then closes and does nothing. Sorry to be so noobish. I am very savvy with cars but these audi's are a whole nother animal. Thank you for all your inputs i will try all of that and let /ou guys know what happens when i get the logger to work.
