Hi to all!
First sorry if the thread is not in the proper section off the forums.
From soon I own 2008 2.0TFSI 240hp cupra, the previus owner told me that its tuned from Revo. It haves "revo"stickers on it and the first thing I done when took the car was to read the ECU. After that I tryed to find ori file and compare it...saw the differences but I'm very new to MED and ME cars at all and they are not speaking me a lot Cheesy . I found here in forum a MED9 defined file and with comparing I find most of the maps and offsets and factors. Still have some changed data that I can't understand what is it.
I have a lot of unknown points realy...I,m reading a lot but for now my questions are:
Can someone tell me is that file safe for the car for now? Car is whit 76mm catback exsaust and 76mm intake with HKS filter. All other hardware is stock for now.
Which channels should I log for beggining to know is it OK? My focus is on detonations and boost spikes...I have wideband AFR meter and will measure the AFR also.
My second question who is more interesting is...one friend told me "Revo"had a patch in their files and if you try to upload a "stock"file...or other that thing makes you car slower than original. It depends on how is ECU programed...BDM or OBD. Mine stores 7 flash attemps and I think its not writen via BDM...soon I will took it out and will make a full BDM read. But for now we have obdread and ori from internet...and mappack done by me...its not full but I think its enought for beginning. I want to start modify and learn from ori file, but not sure is that "patch story" true. I dont have other similar car nearby to compare them also.
Thanks to all in advance!

I see the thread is not very interesting at alll..but I'm trying to do something and for now I'm stuck...
I made BDM read, and after that I wrote that ori file from internet. Ecu is not happy at all, and immo too Cheesy. I dont know why its not working, checksums are OK 100%. These are the errors after the writing:

After that I made BDM write back again the BDMread file, and car starts without error codes.
Why I cant start with ori file?
Or I should try OBD write?...but I cant see whats the point for that?

Read your own ori via OBD and compare it with the ori from the internet.

You may see some diffs.

There is immo data in the flash. If you made a FULL OBD read, you may copy the data at 6C00 (to 6FFF) and transfer that into your internet file and the car will run.

First thing I have made was to read the car and compare it to the ori from internet...I'm doing it allmost 2 weeks.
After I restored the bdm flash I made an OBD write with the .ori file from internet. Car starts and runs fine. Then I made second BDM read, and now I hope I have good original settings to start making some litle changes to them for beggining.
With the old file the car was throwing me some errors very often like "fuel pressure to low" and some other too.
Now I dont have any troubles expect the heating of O2 sensor B1S2 And something about secondary air injection. Tomorow I will post the errors, I hope I can rid off the second O2 sensor and we will see what to do with the other fault.
I hope someone with much knowledge and a litle free time can take an eye to the files and say some words for them. Is the ori 100% ori? Is that moded file made from "revo" or not? I think its not Revo, just some cheap tune but I dont have enought knowledge to judje it and tell where is OK and where is not.
Thanks in advance to all!
I hope to find a way to help too here!

I'm getting a new downpipe without cat soon, also I am wondering what are my variants with EVAP?
Also is the Cupra Intercooler same as S3 8p? And turbo?

Hi to all! Today I made some logs, guided by this site: https://www.goapr.com/support/datalogging.php
I'm attaching them here and hope someone with much experience will take a look on them.
The car now is with the ori software from the 1st post.
1st log was on 3rd gear, other logs were on 4th gear.
I'm wondering isnt my boost and load to low?
And my biggest attention is on the knock control...is that different ignition angle delay is normal?
The external temp when I made the logs was 28deg....not very good, but for beggining and to see whats happening with the car....

Ok according to my maps I saw my max specified load from LDRXN is about 155-160 maybe the logs are OK there. But I'm not sure that everything is OK....just guesing for now Cheesy. Still more questions than answers... One more thing...is that lambda 0.9 lean, on the rpm range when torque curve is biggest (WOT)?

I played a litle with ECUxplot and this thing is awesome! I'm attaching screenshots from load, lamda and boost with the original settings to make things easy for view.
I made a graph with ignition angle and actual boost....are these timing bumps normal? At all is it OK?

Maybe this thread is very basic for most people here....but I'm trying to start from somewhere...just still got more questions than answers.
I have found a lot of maps using one full defined Golf TFSI file. But my file have more maps in places and litle differences in other.
I am attaching a mappack with everything defined by me till now and with not 100% sure for some maps.
My main question is about (KFLBTSLBKO). I found a few KFLBTS maps and the seem to be indentical 2 by 2. But I am not 100% sure about whitch ones or one is KFLBTSLBKO.
Same thing with LDRXN...I got six maps and if I lead the Golf file the last one would be LDRXNZK but the values inside them are not fitting that logic at all...(when knocking more load?!?). Can someone take a look and tell me what I have messed up Cheesy.
Thanks in advance!
