Hello, i have an issue. A friend has a seat arosa 1.0. His clocks were faulty so he swapped clocks, ecu, key etc etc. Now the car works but will not rev above 3k and does not run right.

The original ECU was 030906032DR, he has now got 030906032AS fitted that came with new clocks.
He paid £140 for someone to remove immobiliser from 95040 on both ECU's!!! (crazy i know) Now the 032DR will not work but the 032AS runs but wont rev above 3k rpm.

I have read both 512kb flash from the ECU's. My plan was to flash the 030906032DR file onto the 030906032AS ECU to see if it will run properly.

the ecu's are both ME7.5.10 - I had to read them as 1mb and then split the file into 512kb with hxd. I've uploaded the files. I'm hoping someone may be able to confirm that I'm ok to cross flash these, hes spent a fair bit of money faffing around and i hoped to be able to help him by trying this since the 032AS ecu seems to actually run the car albeit not very well.

thanks in advance guys Smiley

Upon reading the 95040 of both ECU's I've found that the immobilisers are off however the checksums are incorrect. Possible stupid question here but would this cause trouble with the running of the car?

I've corrected them and will re flash the 95040 in bootmode as the first attempt at fixing this issue if this could be a viable reason why he's having trouble?
