I am trying to remove the immo from a BMW E46 318i ecu with bosch #0 261 204 420
BMS 46 ecu from Bosch product finder.
I used a software that removes the immo from the psop44 prom on the backside of the board but no
luck.
Would I also need to flash the main chip?
The ecu in the car is dead so got my hands on a used one.

Please upload the read-out of the PSOP44 and tell us the type of processor Wink

If it matches MS43/MS42, i may be able to help you out.
