Hi guys,

i was hoping someone could have a look at my mod file for my stepdads standard Audi A3 Tdi 105hp BKC.

I've gotten to know me7.5 quite well recently but never looked into deisel, however i thought i'd have a go.

Managed to track down a .kp with most the maps i need for basic stage 1 altough quite a few didn't line up but they do now, i also found the easy launch map (soft rev limiter i believe) and adjusted that too.

I havent messed with SOi or duration maps yet just torque limiter, turbo limit, smoke limit DW and EGR, will this be enough to safely increase power?

I've  read it's capable of 140bhp with no additional hardware i'm not aiming that high 130hp would be good enough.

Thanks in advance. Grin

Mark.

It is EDC16 - If You want to remove egr you have to find hysteresis.
Smoke limiters- It is enough to touch them at high Maf/boost.
Start map - This way you can damage dualmass flywheel.

boost is stock.
extra power is low.
Torque limiter bit higher but not much.
Will make 125ish hp can make 20 hp more.

Hi TurboJohan

Thanks for taking the time to look, could you possibly give me a nudge in the right direction?

Do i even need to touch fuel maps for a completly stock car & are you saying i can increase torque limiter quite alot more i think it's roughly 10% more than stock currently.

Also when it comes to logging to make sure it safe, is it similar to Petrol i'e check for Knock and high EGT?

Thanks again. Grin

you can add torquelimiter up to max in torque/inj.quantity conversion map (334nm) in midrange.
bit easy under 2200 rpm for flywheel and clutch and taper of in high end.
No need to touch duration maps.
Make sure turbo doesn't overshoot and creep in topend.
When creeps you have to much fuel.
Look at smoke for max amount of fuel.
egt doesn't go too high if you make it smokefree with safe boost level.
And if you want to be sure put a egt probe in manifold..

Thanks again JoHan,

is this better i'm not sure if my definition file is wrong for Torque Map as the values are more like 3430.00 when i look at them.

I've adjusted Requested Turbo Map so i think max should be 1.3bar

i've also re-adjusted DW 1-7 so they are now around 20% more 1500-5000rpm (i know this italian tuning is bad but not sure how to increase otherwise) again i'm not sure my map pack is correct because RPM goes up to 6000rpm on a diesel? i've attached pic.

Thanks again for taking the time to look.
