I'm asking for a friend. S6 engine swap into A6 4.2. Original TCU reports that it's incompatible with S6 ECU software.  |

What year S6 ecu?
They told me just the "4D0907558", so I presume it's older, pre-facelift version. |

We did. I can confirm that the 4D0907558 is a Euro S6 pre-fl binary. I'm pretty sure I could find a car you're looking for but I have no idea how to read the TCU flash.

You can check the can configurations between A6 and S6 binaries. The flash can be modified to send/receive the correct signals.

As far as I know, it's a desolder job. So, if you don't have the file, I don't want to burden you with acquiring it. I'll try to look into modding CAN messaging within the ECU then. Thanks. EDIT: For sake of completeness, changing FMOTC did the trick. Everything else related to CAN messaging was similar anyway. |

find the locations of CANVERS, FMOTC and CWGC and port the values from the original file and youre all set
