Hey guys-

Flashed my latest update to my tune tonight- after it successfully completed it I believe i forgot to disconnect before unplugging my ross-tech cable.

Car won't start, and the Nefmoto flashing software can no longer connect...

What the hell do i do now?

Try disconnecting your battery for ~ 5 minutes....Then see if you can connect with VCDS or Nef. I believe if you don't "disconnect" the ecu will still think the flash has not finished and prevent the car from starting. I also believe the latest ver. of Tony's software auto-disconnects..Which may mean you have another issue? If none of that works, you may have to use boot mode.

You need to flash it boot mode, and might need to reflash it with NefMoto after the flash with Galleto succeeds

Yes the last version of the Nefnoto software it auto disconnects but if not (i did that by mistake) there is no prolem for the ecu. If the flash was written succesfully when you turn off ignition and on again it will boot normally. I think the flash didn't completed. Try boot mode and galletto as the others said. Regards

Sometimes if you leave ignition on and mess with the fuses the ECU will wake up.

I had a wrong checksum on my 12v and I was at home away from my tools and it wouldn't start. I started messing with the fuses and I got it to start and I was able to drive back to the shop.

I was lucky I guess Grin

You will know when the ECU responds because the CEL will illuminate.
