Ok so i bought a new laptop, before on my old laptop i was able to log perfectly all the time. So i transferred the entire folder -from daz Sad- from my old to new laptop. And now I get the error below. I'm able to connect to vcds just fine, but something is up with my ecu file apparently?

I'm trying to use my innovative 551m file like before (lc2 wideband)
Do i need to load a stock bin file or something? Shouldn't i be using this innovative551m.cfg to log?

What am i missing here?

I got it to work by creating a new ecu file and template. However I was hoping to use my old template that had my wideband (LC2) on it. Now this template won't log my wideband. Can someone tell me what i need to add to this config file, so my lc2 wideband will register in my logs?

Where did you get the old template from?

Post it. It's probably corrupted.

Where is the .ecu file that goes with it?

That .cfg won't work unless EVERY var listed in the .cfg is defined in the .ecu

Looks ok to me. You sure the .ecu file is in the right directory when you start it up? The error indicates it can't open it, not that it is corrupted.

I'ts certainly there, I don't get it, something is off. I can log just fine with the config that I create.
Is there a way i can add my wideband to my new config? Perhaps just editing my working config, how would I go about adding it??

then the permissions/ownership are wrong, because it clearly says "can't open"...

Might have something to do with long filename and long path.
Try renaming the .ecu - but don't forget to change the name in the .cfg as well.
