cdkat too simple? lol
Well for me finding cdkat is not so simple.
I am new to tuning files, but not new at all to reverse engineering embedded systems, assembly language, and IDA.
I was very grateful for the ols file RBPE attached in the in the beginning of the thread but I cant find any CDKAT in there. I have been using his ols as a reference. However in order to find and add new variables such as CDKAT, I am going to need to disassemble an ols documented rom that has CDKAT. I plan to look at the code context in which it is used, and try to find a similar code construct in my bin. Unfortunately so far I have no such completely documented reference to use. There are some memory layout differences between the A4 roms commonly discussed here, and what I have. It would be easier for me if I had a reference that was perhaps closer to mine. I am still working on that.

Can you help?

EDIT:
OK I found one!

The zip file in post 4 is a near perfect match for me. I only have the demo WinOLS. Could someone export the map table for me? I could then write an IDA script to just bring all the labels in. I need something like Name, Addr.
Even better if anyone knows of the ols file structure I could whip up a quick C program to create the ida script directly from the ols.

I still hunt the factory 1482. I will experiment with CDKAT but I thought I read somewhere that not good for emission testing. Still a noob, but I learn fast.

At work, saving for later. Definitely interested in delving into my 24v BDF I just picked up.
