Hi guys
Sorry for the noob question. I have here my original ecu mal from my wifes smart cdi. I also have a moded ecu map also for this model but not made from my original file. Can i flash the modded one to my ecu or do i have to correct amy checksum? Im using mpps

I would run it through a checksum utility first, unless you have a solid recovery option.

Always have a fail safe way of recovering the ecu.
And be careful with flashing files found on the Internet.
If you are brave enough to try it, do some logging before you put it in day to day use.
