It depends.

Search this site for GIAC.

Open the ECU up and see what hardware changes were made.

Download the bin with Nefmoto or Galletto.

The only obstacles I expect would be the ability to read and write properly, and possibly checksumming.

Alot depends on when the ECU was flashed/chipped. GIAC's security has become much more sophisticated over the years, but the main focus has always been performance maps.

it can be done depending on if the original file came from a socketed chip or flashed tune.

i have successfully done mods and checksum corrections on a  socketed awe chip read.  but have not been successfull when all the maps are shifted and checksums are not in the usual locations from the later flash versions.
