hi everyone,having problems using cmd and argdubs software trying to immo off.never done anything like this before and im lost!
managed to connect nefmoto, got immobiliser not authenticated.
not sure if im in bootmode although when i try , nefmoto wont connect?
struggling using cmd keep getting , system cannot find path specified
im probably doing something wrong!
not sure if its my commands or im not getting into bootmode or something else!

if cmd prompt is open with "C:\Users\scotty>", try:
cd desktop
press <enter>
me7_95040 --bootmode -r -p 3 95040.bin
<enter> again

How do you know it's port 3?  Is the argument R not for read?  You don't read in bootmode.  Is the ECU even in bootmode?

Hi everyone, sorry for late reply, I gave up in the end!
Ended up taking eeprom off the board and flashing it using x prog
It starts and runs fine now!

How do you know it's port 3?  Is the argument R not for read?  You don't read in bootmode.  Is the ECU even in bootmode?

Fairly sure one of my ECUs will only read in bootmode...

All the 1.8t ECUs I've read have always read normally booted.
