What limit maps/constants need to be adjusted to allow higher boost via MBC/EBC?

I'm not talking about tuning a higher requested torque just yet. But allowing a higher boost via external control (MBC/EBC).

I'd like to discuss in stages.

1st stage) boost higher than stock 'boost' limit, but below max 'torque' limit.
2nd stage) boost high enough to exceed max 'torque' limit.

Assuming injectors/MAF/MAP are calibrated.


Stage 2 might flow into the subject of tuning a higher requested torque which I'll like to avoid for this discuss. Or adjusting AFR/timing.

You need to:
-increase the allowed boost deviation (deviation of actual boost from desired boost)
-increase the allowed airflow (max airflow for the given RPM)

I think that is it if I recall correctly.

- ELDOB (currently 50 hPa / .73 psi) ?
- Huh any hint to max flow/RPM map you're talking about
