I have researched this topic extensively and cannot find anyone with this same ECU / Sw Ver. EGR Passages in the head are plugged and the customer cannot afford R&R and correct lasting repair. Car runs great passes all readiness tests except the SAI. I have considered forcing readiness on all others and passing legally before I get a SAI fail. However setting MSLUB and MSLBAS to zero seems like a more effective solution. This is a very rare USA Manual Gearbox 2.8L ATQ V6 2001 Passat. Map locations are moved on this model compared to every other ME7.1 version I can find, even other ATQ versions. If someone can tell me the exact location of the code to 00 I can correct CHKS etc and flash using my tools. I can gladly pay for the info.

In the file posted

MSLBAS is at address 0x8183c7 (file offset 0x183c7).  It is a byte and has value 0x20

MSLUB is at address 0x81a45a (file offset 0x1a45a). Table is words.  First word represents axis length 0x0008.  Then 8 words of axis.  Then 8 words of data.
