I know you S4 guys have all your different "boxes" and that they can flash to one another and this way and that way etc.  I haven't seen much of that for us 1.8T guys, so I decided to just give it a try!

I have an 06A906032NK - 2004 Jetta 1.8T.  Decided to try flashing an LP binary to my car... the LP comes from the 2003 Jetta/Golf 1.8Ts, so I figured they couldn't be much different.  Didn't explicitly check the memory layout of my ECU beforehand, but I used the 800 layout, which is what the LP is listed as using...

Ended up working just fine! Smiley

Glad to hear it,

i flashed a LP tune on a HS Ecu, it seemed to work fine.

but after a while of driving, some weird driving issues and blowing out some crazy emissions kinda stopped me on that respect.

I'm going to flash a different tune and try to confirm if it was the ECU, or the Tune that was at fault.

Yeah, I've definitely noticed that I have a slight rev hang when I depress the clutch... hangs around 1300 for a few seconds then drops to idle.  This is, of course, with a TB that I had previously dinked around on and just gotten around to fixing.... a TBA will probably help but I never had rev hang before so I'm attributing this to the different flash. On another note, I also successfully flashed an HS binary to my ECU today.
