hi guys been struggling to get this figured out, done around 1000 miles on my engine iv just rebuilt, now its getting cold the cold starts very rich. it revs to around 1200 and a second later it sounds like it misfires in till I blip the throttle the then it can happen again in till the revs drop down to normal operating revs

KRKTE correct
MLHFM correct
TVUB correct
FKKVS correct

iv tried  adjusting the lower temperature lines in
KFFWL_0_A
KFFWL_1_A

I copied down the correction from 15 degs to the lower two lines as it was running fine in warmer temps

its very frustrating to solve this because I have to wait ages to let the engine cool down completely

nothings really working, car runs great while warm.
I don't like this issue because I think its creating oil/fuel dilution

so any suggestions would be great, I don't have an aux wide band sensor.

thanks

Your calibrations obviously are shit. You say you have all relevant fueling maps set right without any data to backup your bogus statement. You ask what's wrong and I'm telling you. Good luck falling into the black hole with the other 99%

idle fuel trims are -2.6
partial are around -2.4

im speculating they are correct as they are copied from a good file, from a reputable company

If you have to play with cold start maps for ev14s 550s with a maf'ed car your tvub and Krkte are not right. I do mafless cars with larger injectors then these and barely ever need to change. If you think copy and paste from one software version to another from a file someone else made is the right way you got a lot to learn.

Why are you getting so offended? Take a chill pill, Marty is actually a respectable member here. Ev14's 550 should not have a cold start issue at all. If your trims are in spec why don't you take a look at what your sensors are reading before you start it? Like coolant temp sensor? Start with basics. Nobody is here to bash anybody, this isn't the s4 community.

Hi I'm not getting offended, thanks I will have a look at that... I'm seriously frustrated because my full forged build has cost me many thousand and it's still a Rusty skoda
