Author Topic: galletto not responding while it is connected to my octavia vrs 1.8  (Read 6080 times)

i tried flashing my octavia vrs 1.8 using galletto .the flash got interupted in between .now the car wont start up.
plus now i cannot even see ecu data when i click ecu data button on galletto .
plus i havent hooked up my battery to a battery charger.does it need to be hooked to battery charger .the batterry seems to be fine everything is working headlights,wipers,sunroof,audio system except the car wont start. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do you have flashed the ecu with a file Huh

did you read the ori file from th ecu ??

this happen if some poeple think flashing a ecu is a childgame !!

i can help you to repair the ecu !!

car is not starting in the moment Huh

you can easy repair this ecu !!!

use boot mode !! galletto can do it !! i have this tool too !!

do you get informations from th ecu ?? can you see any data or is there no communication with th ecu Huh

Just reflash the ecu in boot mode with your galletto cable. Will mean our have to remove the ecu, make a bench harness and do it out of the car, but it will fix your problem and is a better in my opinion way of flashing an ecu with galletto. Don't panic if you do this you'll be up and running soon. There's a good thread on how to bench flash he ecu,

there is no communication form the ecu .
how can i get into boot mode .galletto software shows no boot mode option for skoda octavia 1.8
bench flashing is not an option for me.

Black, use magic "search" function on the left. Boot mode, pinouts etc. everything is already here, at this forum or wiki.

You can try "bench" in your car, unplug instruments fuse no 11 (picture below), open your ecu and proceed bood mode as it is in wiki.
