Maybe there is thread on this somewhere. But whats the procedure in locking the ecu from being read. but yet still can be written over. I want to remap and write and prevent a ripper from reading it.

In winols you can set it in the project settings window as well.

Bootmode? Lol all this read protection stuff is a hilarious waste of time and effort.

If your stuff is that good, you should be able to trivially come up with your own protection.. which is also probably trivial to bypass for anyone who wants to put in the minimal effort.

Yeah, maybe you'd have to combine the read only with total hotsnot madness Roll Eyes (oh that has been done before, right? Grin)
I would carve my name in the file and hope it gives me credit in the future. Unless your tuning really sucks of course, then the total disabled read is better Tongue
