You don't need the SKC to remove the immo?  I don't understand what you're doing.

You don't turn the IMMO off with the cluster.  It's done in the ECU.  There are numerous threads covering this; you'll need to read them first and then ask questions. Smiley

He's trying to get car running; old cluster fubar'd during LCD swap, can't read SKC from it. And for whatever reason software he's using won't give it to him via ECU.
Trying to help him and Have 1. ECU file and 2. Replacement cluster file. I don't know the addresses of the SKC in the ECU eeprom. That would be the easiest.
Anyone willing to tell him what the SKC is from his ECU  .bin?

And yes, you can turn immo off at the cluster? Why would you say you can't?
Daz!    :-(

If you get bored today Read this here :

And use NefMoto to get your ECU eeprom /.bin, if you send it to me I'll dig through it and see if I can remember where the SKC is. I haven't had to do it in a few years, but It's there...hopefully it'll come back to me.

Immo disable is in the ECU eeprom, not the ECU flash.

So, his old cluster died during LCD swap. Has replacement and SKC for it.
But is trying to get SKC from ECU. He is having comm issues w/ Nefmoto, it will connect but will not read the flash.
#1 Easiest Solution is anyone kind enough to turn immo off in his .bin?

(Now you need to attach the cluster .bin !!)

#2. Ideally he could get SKC from the ECU, but as of now have no way to read the flash.
SO, unless he can figure out why he can't read the ECU eeprom to get his car running he needs the Immo off at the cluster.

I have been trying to help him, but can't remotely determine why he can't read the ECU file.

ECU flash is not the ECU eeprom

You're not listening to what people are saying.  You CANNOT turn the IMMO off in the ECU FLASH, NOR THE CLUSTER.  It's done in the ECU EEPROM.
