8E0909518F < 8E909518AF

Hey guys having some problems with my ecu which is the 518F. I was wondering if there is any ecu's that are interchangeable like the 518AF or maybe a different one. I have a 2002 Audi A4 5 speed manual 1.8t all wheel drive. thanks guys

I thought the 518G was? Why don't you flash another 518f on?
I have a 518f ecu if you need one.

None are cross flashable.However You could just swap in a 518af or ak i believe.

I dont see why not.It should work in theory.I know cross flashable 518f is not.But swapping in another ecu should take care of that.Might need to change some coding in the cluster,but I doubt it.
