So I know my skc is 2164 but I have just downloaded the bin file and would like to know where abouts it is located in the dump I basically used vag tacho in the past to get the skcs but would like to know where exactly its located.

Any help??

I would have thought the SKC was 05557

The two bytes starting at $32(and $42) are B515 - swap those two bytes(15B5) and convert to decimal which is 05557.

That is how its done with my VW ME7 ECUs anyway.

Sorry my mistake it is 5557. Originally it was 2164 but I had used vagcom to code it to my car as a spare ecu and had forgotten it would have changed the skc to match the immob. Makes sense now, many thanks guys

I just tired to read check the SKC on another ECU, took a dump of the EEprom and SKC location is FF FF.

Any ideas please...

It's a remapped ecu, but no idea who.. REVO?

Looks like they XXXX'd it out, same with the VIN/IMMO ID - standard practice with an immo defeat from many tuners. The immo is likely defeated in the flash code itself as the standard eeprom immo defeat isn't done(pretty sure that is how revo happens to do it)

What year is your car? I'm guessing its IMMO 2. They don't have pin codes in the ECU, just FF FF. (at least of those I've seen)

2000. It is an Immo 2 but I have got SKC's from plenty of other immo 2 cars, and currently have an ecu from a BFB immo2 audi a4 which I can get the SKC from easily. Thanks any for the post though, welcome all comments.
