Good evening everyone,

I write because I have a problem with my 1.8T AGU ME3.8.3.
It is now more than a year that I do hundreds of tests but I can not fix it.

I'll explain shortly. Hardware setup:

- K04-023
- Injector SAAB BOSCH RED 350CC
- FPR 4 BAR
- AEM fuel pump 320 l / h
- Front intercooler 550x280x70

I run test number tuning Fgat0, tenim, TVUB, MHLFM etc.

But the problem is always the same: AFR is rich after the 5000 rpm redline is always around at up to 10.5: 1.
The strange thing is that changing in different ways these curves that I have listed the problem is always the same, as if there were some kind of protection.

Of course I checked and properly tuned the ignition advance.
The turbo pressure is 1.5 BAR constant.

If it needs further information is completely available.

I ask you please help.

Probably BTS enrichment, check KFFA .

In the current tuning it is tuned KFFA all at value 0.

i had a friend with a similar build and I found once we put back a 3 bar fpr then the afr went back into line and wasn't overly rich.

Thank you for your answer.
I used initially FPR 3 bar but beyond 5800 rpm AFR was always 12.5 to 12.7: 1.

For this reason I installed fpr 4bar.

You who have injectors mounted in your tuning with fpr 3 bar?

Taken from a map pack I had, have you tried this my friend.


KFLF - Lambdakennfeld bei Teillast

Lambda Map at Partial Load / Main Fuel Correction
X/Y/Z = Load (ms/RPM) / RPM / Lambda Correction Factor

KFLF has nothing to do with lambda request. It is the first injection correction map and the values of this map are factor.
KFLF = 1 mean 0% correction
KFLF = 1.05 means +5% fuel correction

This map is suggested to be tuned in extreme power high rev applications.

For K03 and K04 setups it isn't needed to be tuned at all. A well calibrated file will give you the appropriate results!

KFLF is a prior injection correction map and not a lambda map. You can increase by 10% the KFLF but your fuel will be the same as lambda request.

KFLF stores correction factors

While KFLF is 1.00 is inactive
Richer = KFLF > 1.00
Leaner = KFLF < 1.00

also look at the temp of this map to see what it is set to, this is the temperature (modelled)  that the engine switches to KAt Protec map once this level is reached, raise it and see the result.

When you installed the 4bar regulator did you scale FGAT0 for the changed iniector size ?

KFLF is a prior injection correction map and not a lambda map. You can increase by 10% the KFLF but your fuel will be the same as lambda request.

If you change the values in KFLF your air/fuel mixture will change, you may not see the change (if logging with wideband) if it is small and your in close loop lambda control since the ECU will compensate (up to a given level) but you will see changes in the fuel trims. I've tested this multiple times.

There I apologize for my absence and for the late reply.
Unfortunately I had a bad accident with my car and unfortunately has to be scrapped.
you can not retrieve it.

I regret that I can not try the new mappings with your advice.
I'm looking for another car where to install my engine and then start again.

I hope you waiting for me to give me some advice.
