I attempted to tune my s4 b5 m box ecu, unknowing that it contained a giac computer chip. Read and tune processes went smooth. then failed download 25% of the way through. Any ideas what to do? pin 24 for bootmode is covered by the chip...

flash the ecu to stock using bootmode.

No idea what you mean by "covered".

Post a picture of the board. If it's a chip on an adapter board, do what I suggested in your other thread.....

I guess its that or a new ecu from an a6? Gonna wait and see what giac says.
