I've tried everything to get boost PIDs under control, I'm now considering just crafting my boost/load with CWMDAPP = 8 permanently.

Is there anything critically wrong with tuning this way?

Also which maps/models will I be bypassing, obviously LDRXN, surely IRL/IOP aswell?

By the sound of it, it looks like you haven´t really figured out how boost control works on ME7

I have no logs because I have a boost gauge (makes things easier)

Im just fed up messing about with PIDs cannot seem to get a stable boost response.

I've done all the 0-70 WGDC logs and calculated them in to the linearization map, made IMX linear which has improoved things but im still getting oscillations and overshoot.

I'll post some logs later.

I'm running K03s but with a 3" downpipe and decat which is why the PID needed work in the first place.

This is about the most stable I've managed.

pull out some Q2 and you should be good.

Also, is there any way you can bump up the sample rate?

Sample rate up, reducing Q2 wasnt working so I re-did prj and sb gli's method/tool on KFLDRL/KFLDIMX but getting over/undershoot Sad

I'll increase the axis values by 10% (relative decrease in IMX, whilst keeping linear) then log, then repeat. I'll post logs tomorrow.

Yes exactly and timing pull is only occurring between 150s and 275s.

I'm hoping its linked to the fact that I've removed SAI,N249,N112 and de-catted all without coding it out, I've just finished the coding so about to flash and re-log.

The coding out didn't make a difference.  Sad

Upon inspection I have found a correlation between the throttle position after being closed, and then an off the scale lean spike, I thought this was O2 being pumped from the engine as no combustion is needed during deceleration but it seams after that the ECU take it seriously and tries to compensate by going rich!?

I've unplugged/changed: MAF, O2, knock sensors, coolant temp sensor, MAP and nothing seems to be making a difference to the wierd fuel requests, my fuel economy seems to be better after resetting fuel trims and this latest flash so I'm just going to crack on.

Here is the latest boost log, P and D seem to be battling it out causing oscillations, suggestions?

p.s I'ts fully riding the I-MAX

You don't want it riding imx after initial ramp hits req... You want I taking over. that should help prevent oscillation

Note that no matter what you do, you might see a bit of overshoot when actual first hits req.
