4A0 907 551 AA

Hi,
I have a broken 4A0 907 551
AA
and can get hold of a 4A0 907 551
B
from the scrapyard. Afaik the major difference is that AA is manual and B is auto.
Can I just move the AA eprom to the B - or are there any hw differences that will mess things up? I think both AA and B are without immo.
