Hello guys. I've been reading this forum for quite some time and now i decided to join the community Smiley

I'm in the process of learning how to edit maps. So far so good, i'm making progress with winols Smiley

I own an Audi A4 B5 1.8T Quattro. 1996/1997 DBC AEB.

ECU is:

Bosch M3.8.2
8D0 907 557 T
0261204185

I'm going to do a Stage 1 tune and I already have the map prepped in WinOLS. My (stupid) question is:

What flashing software can I use to flash my ecu? Do I have to bring 12v to some ECU pin maybe? Is it flashable by OBD2 port or do i have to desolder the chip and flash it "on the bench"? I'm in a posession of a chinese VAG KKL cable, unfortunately with ch340, not FTDI chip.

I will eventually buy a better cable because i want to do this professionally after i finish my college education but it's out of the question for now because i need money for college.

All suggestions are welcome. If anyone has an idea how can i transfer this new map to my ecu, i would really aprecciate it. I'm also thinking of trying to do a launch control for the M3.8.2. Something similar to the ME7.5 script that somebody on this forum did. Thanks in advance Smiley
