I need an info of the circuit board of a 2.7T ME7.1 ECU. Looking at the pics, maybe many people will answer just look for a new ECU and avoid all the troubles, but that will be my last last last option.
To start I need to know how is the +12V Battery connection and traces in the board of this ECU. Pin #3 is not present textually speaking and I do not have any other similar ECU to trace the pads. My only supposition is a connection to a big transistor in the other side of the board.

Then some advice is really welcome.
Thanks,

Nobody bothers to fix an ecu with a burned trace.

It comes down to the fact that these can be found for 25-50 EUR.
For some of us that's less than what we earn hourly. Probably not fixable in an hour, if at all.
No point to do it -> do something more useful and just buy another ecu from ebay.

If you want to learn more about the hardware of the ECU search the forum, some people traced where stuff goes and identified what several IC's do.

Just to state what are the costs in Brazil:

http://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/MLB-784523337-modulo-de-injeco-audi-a6-s4-27-all-road-4z7-907-551-h-_JM

1 Euro = 3,49 Real

So, R$ 1.999,00 = 572 euros  (and this ECU is not virgin or immo off, the customer will have to pay  for this too)

Friends I understand and accept your comments. This ECUs in my country are very very rare and really expensive. I found some info about main power supply path but ECU continues to not work at all. Last word is a new ECU is needed. Thanks you all.

Can you work with a replacement?  reflash it and you save much time... lots of 2.7t ecus around 100€ on ebay you can always use the old case if you reflash and copy the eeprom.
