Hey guys, I am looking to replace my cluster (currently a4 b5) with something newer. Its not in an A4, so wiring and fitment is of no concern. My question is, since most newer clusters use can bus, can I use a b8 cluster with a me7.5 ecu? Speed and rpm are already present in the ecu. Its the can protocol the same thing in MED?
Cheers, Tijn

Thanks for your reply, yes a B7 cluster will work in any case, but for my application the b8 shape would actually work better. Totally different plug though, that is also why I doubt the can compatibility with me7. I guess the only way to find out is to buy one...
