Yes, you are right. Darn, I should have read the post more carefully...

So I should get a KKL cable with a FT232R chip, right? I didn't check the chip, I just went for a generic KKL 409.1 cable.

Works with Nefmoto perfect as well as with Gallatto 1260, EDIABAS, INPA, CarSoft....

i got this cable from aliexpress about 2 months now with no issues and used with windows 10 and  installed the driver with windows drivers update all goody no worries works great

but it is clone chip A50285BI flags 0x00000000

chipID:not supported by this device premium feature licensing not supported

so I'm looking for a real FT232R. if anyone has a recent link. thank you

According to the FTDI data sheet, the FT232RL and FT232RQ are both versions of the FT232R.

The different suffix relates to the packaging type, where L is a 28 Pin SSOP, and Q is a 32 Pin QFN.
