authored by someone who clearly understands the ecu

Also inaccurate. He attempted to translate a very very tiny portion of the FR into English, no more, no less.

The FR itself was authored by someone (or someones) who clearly understand Motronic.

Just read the FR for anything you can't find in the s4wiki. There really isn't any other alternative; literally nobody else on the planet has bothered to do any other work. They (like you) have glass beads to trade. They're generally completely uninterested in doing anything cooperative. They have money to make and mouths to feed. If you are looking for a more cooperative (technical) culture, look elsewhere; this is quite literally one of the last places you'll find it.

Didn't mean to belittle any contributions actually, it was all very hush hush back then, I remember you lot were doing very much similar things, (I remember reading you getting grief for stating you were going to openly discuss your understandings much to the dismay of many Motronic specialists at the time on some Audi forums or something), and then TTQS wrote his guide and added the defs.

Point is, that guide is Nefmoto circa 2011-2012 when breaking the taboo's!  Cool
