I have a b5 Passat with a vvti motor have been driving with it like it is was wondering if it's possible to just grab an ecu and pigtail from a b5.5 and throw it in? Or what changes would need to be made

I guess that was a bit unclear I mean my Passat ecu does not have vvti but I know b5.5's do
