I have a b5 S4 and have for 10 years. Its tuned with the Ole APR ECMS and I have logged for years using ECUX. Well as I have upgraded PC's across the years the ECUX keeps getting worse and worse per say. Considering I don't have the ecu file due to their chip etc. Is there a way to log with any of the open source loggers like ME7 Logger or do I need to Unchip my ECU from APR and then flash program it first? Thanks in advance.

I guess you just need a stock file matching the ECU you have in the car and make a .ecu file from that.
Then you should be able to log your ECU.

Edit: you might need to edit .ecu file to match the ECU you have in the car?
