Hello to all Members of this beautiful forum.

Thanks to this place, during past 6 months, I have learned how to make my car go faster and I think I have done a pretty good job in doing that.
Currently I'm trying to understand why my car has ignition retards when similar car from friend of mine don't.
I mean, I have flashed the same tune into his car and it behaves differently, ignition angle on his car is higher and it has no ignition retards at all.

My car is A3 8L 1.8T AUQ, 162 000 KM with a K03S.
Added hardware: FMIC, downpipe and 4 bar FPR.
Fuel used 95 RON.
KRFKN is 1.5 all over the table as well as KRFKLN.
Nothin else is changed in KRRA.

I'm posting the log taken with ME7 Visual logger.
It contains short 3 rd and 4 th gear pull but all data that is needed, is there.

It would be great if somebody could look into my log and tell what could be possibly wrong.
A software issue or a hardware problem???
I'm confused.

Thank you in Advance,

Upload a full log.  3rd gear, 1500rpm to limiter.  That CSV has been editted.

Really difficult to read - but either the motor isn't up to temperature or you have a dead CTS.

Boost is too high for AIT/lack of fuel.  Issues with tip-in possibly.

Timing sucks.

Thank you for your reply adam.

I will upload the log today. Strange the CSV has not been edited.

Timing sucks and that is my actual problem.   Grin

Add a whack more fuel, pull boost back, add an FMIC, monitor injector IDC.

Hi to all,

Well I have added "some" fuel Smiley and decreased boost as "adam-" advised.
Retards are still there.
Buy the way FMIC is already installed.
I'm attaching a fresh log to this post.
Oh and one more thing ambient temperature was +35 C when this log was taken.

Any help is appreciated.

You're asking for more fuel, but you aren't getting it.

Where did you decrease boost?  You're still asking for +2000mbar at 6k.

you are absolutely right adam.

My mistake. I should have wait until lambda control enabled.
I have decreased boost generally,  have not corrected boost profile yet but will do for sure

I will log today in the evening when traffic settles down and post a correct log.

One more thing my engine load is more than engine load specified and engine load requested.
Could you please tell why this possibly could happened?

Thanks again for your time adam.

Check the FPR and hose running to it.  Otherwise fuel pump, filter.

Well here is the correctly recorded log.

I gave more fuel to the car. It changed nothing except that there is more fuel. Ignition is still retarded.

Any ideas beside hose running to FPR?

What fuel?

A 2400mbar spike will encourage knock, then ramping up to 21 degrees is a lot.

What do you mean?

OK what should be my strategy then?

Hello again,

Today I have flashed the stock software in order to end the discussion about my tune and focus on actual problem.
Edited only KRKTE for 4bar regulator and disabled lambda after cat as I have the downpipe installed.

Retards are still present. I assume it has to do something with hardware rather with the software.

log is attached. Somebody any idea?

Thanks
