Hi Guys,

I'm struggling to get minimon working with a Porsche ME7.8.  I'm working on the bench, and I'm able to get the ECU into boot mode and minimon shows "CONNECTED AND READY", but no matter what range of addresses I try and upload it doesn't work.  Minimon gives the message "Error: no data received" and then the status bar shows "NOT CONNECTED".  Any help would be appreciated.

Below is the log output from MiniMon and I have also attached my minimon preferences file.

Code:
*Loader file Prepare
*Minimon file Prepare
*send Byte  0+ Loader + MinimonCore
*RECEIVE - MC-Identifier: D5
*RECEIVE - LoaderACK 01 received
*RECEIVE - Minimon ACK 03 received
*Minimon successfully launched
*Reset: BUSCON0=0280
*Reset: SYSCON=0600
*Reset Configuration: External Bus disabled
*Reset Configuration: 16 Bit demultiplexed Bus
*Reset Configuration: WR# and BHE# retain their normal function (P0H.0=0)
*Reset Configuration: On chip watchdog timer is disabled (RD#=0)

*Initialisation: Call EINIT Command

Just to be clear, by "upload" I me read from the micro/flash to Minimon.

Also, does anyone know where I can find a minimon driver for 95320 eeprom?

Thanks

Some success - I was able to download the flash.  The issue I was having was due to the EINIT command set in the target configuration and also, some incorrect register initialization values. I have attached the minimon preferences file that worked.

I think the data that I'm really after is in the 95320 eeprom, but I'll see what I can find in flash.  It seems like a driver for the eeprom is a dead end.

For me the script resulted in:
Code:
*Loader file Prepare
*Minimon file Prepare
*send 0 Byte + Loader + MinimonCore
*RECEIVE - MC-Identifier: 85
*ERROR: No Loader_ACK Byte received (MinimonCore not loaded)
*ERROR: No Minimon Byte received (Minimon not successful)

There is another script in here. I adapted that and got it running for ME7.1 .
Ensure that initial command calls (here EINIT) are deactivated, select the right port for your interface and go for it.
