Trying to read/write with issues.

06A906032CL V. 4.

From what I have read I see that this is a 400BB file (512kb) Every time I try to read nefmoto tells me this is the wrong data set. I have read with 800bb and nefmoto has no issue and gives me the file. If I continue the read with the 400bb it still will read the ecu and allow me to save the file. I have attached my bin files. Not sure if this is an immobilzer issue or this ecu is just messed or if I am just on the completely wrong track. I have read all of the stickies and nothing seems to solve the issue. Please help Smiley

I just bought this car. It is an absolute mess. I don't think it is as it was just running 10psi max boost. Is there a way to check the ecu? I have alot of work to do with the turbo and wastegate. it is all pretty worn out but i am currently just trying to get it to pass inspection.

Thanks for your reply. Would it be a good idea to just get another ecu from a junk yard?

Looks like an old APR file. Best to just flash over it.

Thank you! So basically I can't copy this and reuse it so I need to find a stock bin for this ecu. Thank you very much for your help! If any one has one for this ecu let me know but I will begin searching today!

Cheers!

Well after much research I have come to the conclusion that I should just get rid of this ECU and upgrade to a wideband one. I can not find any xlf files that contain the things I need to remove the emissions and comparing similar bins on winols seems to be pretty impossible. If any one could give me their opinion on this that would be much appreciated. If I could just get readiness checks for my emissions i would be happy with this ecu.

cheers
