Why write nonsense if you yourself don’t know?
SW number is 8E0910560J. It's S4 BBK motor firmwarе.
4E0907560 is HW number of ECU.

You are writing nonsense! 4E0907560 is 4E0910560J This is A8D3 BFM motor with belt!
8E0910560J is a BBK motor from S4B7 and it is chain driven!

907 is hardware number. 910 is software number.

Both 4E0910560J and 8E0910560J use the 4E0907560 hardware.

If you don't know the difference between hardware and software maybe just don't post at all.

You don't understand at all what I'm writing about. On my S4B7 ECU the number is 8e0910560J, there are no other numbers. I wrote down the firmware from the first message of this topic, when I turned on the ignition, errors immediately appeared on the phase sensors. After investigation, I realized that the author posted a file from an A8d3 BFM belt motor, which has different phase sensors. The author made a mistake with the software number and car model.

Do you have s4b7/b6? Upload the firmware from the author of this topic and look for errors in the camshaft sensors!

You can only read labels on ecu case?  Grin
And now open authors 8E0910560J firmware in hex editor and search for "4E0907560" ascii signature.
You will be very surprised. Shocked

It's normal for BBK to have 4E0907560 hardware.
Here is a file I read myself from a S4 B7 with BBK engine. Zero issues with the car of course, because it's an original file.
Also 4E0907560 hardware.

It even uses the same EPK pretty much:

EPK 8E0910560J 0020:
42/1/ME7.1.1/5/C1105G//25F/E5fegh3/040405/
EPK 8E3910560 0020:
42/1/ME7.1.1/5/C1105G//25F/E5fega3/310305/

It is possible there are some differences between B6 and B7 software and they use different hw.
But there is for sure nothing wrong with this file.

Most likely you have a B6 S4 and you wrote B7 S4 file to your B6 S4 ECU. And then you get errors.

Post your original file to see what HW it uses.
Most likely HW 8E0907560 and HW 4E0907560 are not compatible and if you cross flash you get errors.

This has nothing to do with belt or chain though, and it does not mean 8E0910560J 0020 or 8E3910560 0020 have any problems.
