Hi, I want to build arduino based device with canbus module and connect it do drivetrain bus in my VW Golf mk4 TDI. Device will react to some specific values transmitted via CANBUS. I need to add custom CAN message to EDC15P, because values that interests me (for ex: actual boost pressure value) are not sent by ecu by default. What are the possibilities to add custom message to send by default by ecu? I have read some of this forum and noticed that there are several people who have successfully reverse engineered this ecu and modified the assembler by adding their own functions. Can someone help me?
