Hi.
Can anyone help me turn off the second lambda probe.
Does MED have a map ESKONF?
I can turn off O2 in ME7 but in MED9 I did not do it.
Can anyone give me guidance?

I easy did it by changing codeword CDKAT and CDKATSP to "0". So the
cat-diagnosis is no longer active. This works if you have catless pipe.

CDKATSP is 7.
Did you remove the second probe completely from the car?

Set to 0 but leave the probe in. The secondary lambda is used for additional fuelling corrections.

Was the same on my car, works well. CDKATSP seems to be the right way if your 2nd O2-Sensor is still installed. If you want to completely remove it, i think CDLSH and CDHSH is the right Codeword, but i haven´t tried it yet. Will try and report.

I have rear o2 sensor completely removed and it still throws a code with these changes.

Post the code? Preferable copy/paste VCDS scan.

It'll be diagnosis for the sensor and heater, not diagnosis for the cat.

I found maps:
CDHSH
CDKVS
CDLSH
CWKONLS
CWLSHA
CDLASH
TKIHKBTMN
TKIHKBTMX
TKIVKBTMN
TKIVKBTMN

I think it's a good clue when you want to disconnect the second oxygen sensor.

I have no logs because I have a boost gauge (makes things easier)

You need to disable lambda plausibility diagnosis, heater and heater endstage diagnosis. There are certain codewords to do both.
There is no ESKONF on MED9, it is done through specific codewords/voltage limits.

Look through the damos "Endstufe" for end stage, "Heiz" for heater. CDLSH/CDLASH should take care of the lambda diagnosis.

If you are lazy, just disconnect the lambda, note the fault codes and kill the fault classes.
It is not the "right" way but in the end it makes absolutely no difference, because once a lambda fault is debounced everything regarding the rear o2 is switched off in the ECU anyway.
