Hello

The car I'm planning to do this mod is 1999 Audi A4 B5 2.5TDi q AFB (yes it's an euro and has immo for sure)

ECU should be Bosch EDC15

since I got nothing to do and my B5 cluster has died, I was thinking of swapping with a C5 one.
My B5 cluster is a 8D0 919 (immo 2) and got lying around an 4B0 920 cluster (immo 3).

Now there are few things that confuse me. Do I have to switch immo off from the ECU or my C5 cluster?
The blinking light in the cluster won't be a problem.
I've seen that you can switch the 4B0 920 cluster to immo 2 with VCDS and the rev. counter should start working too.
What about using an immo emulator, it should do the same trick to get my car running?

Now the second problem, A6 has an 70l tank and A4 has an 60l tank.
If i modify the fuel gauge map, it should start showing the right thing?

The whole thing is doable with
 * ME7 EEPROM programmer - to read/write ECU dump?
 * VAG_K+CAN_Commander_v2.5 - to read/write dash dump?
 * 95040Tool - to switch immo off?

I just recently found this forum and overloaded myself with new information, got a little bit confused.  Cheesy

If you plan to swap a 920 cluster you will need to change a few pins beetween the cluster connections , change the oil pan to a one with oil sensor

Then change the fuel gauge map , immo will work without problems

Yep, I know that, got the pinout from http://www.buckeyestangs.com/drew/tech/audi/b5_instrument_cluster_pinout/
Already got the oil pan with level sensor.

Still, I don't think that immo 2 and immo 3 are changeable. Found that the 4B0 920 cluster has adaption channel 60 which is for the powertrain CAN, if I recode it to 00000, the cluster SHOULD work with immo 2 and start showing revs through analog inut, but can someone confirm that?

No need, I already installed the oil pan with sensor. It was just too cold outside to do it when I posted it.

Installed RNS-e too. Tongue
