Infineon XC166 Erase

Dear all,
Is there a way to wipe the XC161CJ (XC166 family) chip without knowing the password? I'm trying to transplant some salvaged chips into an old VCI and the donor chips are locked.
I dont care about whats on the donor chips. I just need to wipe everything so I can load a new firmware on it.
New chips are not available until mid or late next year, if at all.....
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
