Some files can share .xdf,
Only way to find out is open .bin file with said .xdf and see if stuff lines up.
If not, try a couple of others.
You might get lucky.

That is if you can't find or there isn't a .xdf for you ECU.

Thanks for the response. When I open my .bin 06A906032DM (aww engine automatic) with the 06A906032Dl XDF (aww engine manual trans.) what do I look for to show its compatible?

The easiest way would be to find a file and .xdf that matches and see how the maps are.
And then see if your .bin and .xdf combination looks similar.

Hello, cable won't come for a week or so. All I'm trying to do is 00 mslub and mslbas. I was thinking to grab an original 06A 906 032 DL file and do that in the meantime to practice. Am I looking in the hex editor to change those values? Do you have those maps? I just installed Tunerpro and Winols but am very novice at both. Also looking for the  evap.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Still waiting for cable. Turns out I have a 06A906032GH as per OBD scan tool. 2001 AWW Jetta 150hp 4 speed automatic. Question, could I flash an AWP tiptronic 5 speed automatic bin? I think I would have to do immo defeat. Would this be possible or is the ecu giving info for the tiptronic trasmisission and TCU? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
