What do you mean the second stage?
For everyone it can mean something else.

Define "stage 1" vs "stage 2"

Define "stage 1" vs "stage 2"

Stage 1 = Stock hardware tune
Stage 2 = Bolt-ons but stock turbo and injector

I used to be super anal about not classifying the stages, and learned it's easier to just let it go.

Vwaudiguy thank you for that  I'm still pretty new to this stuff

So yes stage 2 bolts on and is stage 2+  just a more fuel and boost is that correct?

I have 3" catless downpipe fmic  vis motorsport hpfp interals axle back exhaust and a cold and intake.

This whole "stage" stuff is largely subjective.

Here it's usually:
Stage 1: all the hardware is stock, essentially just a tune.
Stage 2: emissions delete, stronger tune.
Stage 2+: bolt-ons (DP/IC/WMI/whatever), still stock turbo. This is sometimes just included in 2. Essentially, stage 2 == "stock turbo, but de-cat + maybe other hardware mods".
Stage 3: big turbo with accompanying fueling mods, etc.
