KFZW and KFMIOP load axis question
« on: January 19, 2012, 11:29:55 PM »
Hi
OK next stage in my tuning is too bring my timing in line with the extra boost/load I am now running, I have increased the load axis in KFMIOP too reflect the higher load values in KFMIRL and this has smoothed out the cold starts and part throttle surging. Although now I have an idle fluctuation, which is somehow related too what I have done in IOP but I will sort that out later after bringing timing in line.
So my question, do I need too alter the load axis in KFZW to match the load axis in KFMIOP? From reading on here the KFZW will use the highest value if the load exceeds the load value defined in the load axis. currently the load axis in my file for KFZW starts at 15 and ends at 140.

thanks, i did that this morning and timing is better I then started modifing the values depending on what I was seeing in me7logger. I believe that a CF of -3.5 is still acceptable for max performance?

Timing load axis is stored as an 8 bit value.
