Hiya guys

i have a mk2 golf running a 1.8t BAM engine. Attached is the original eeprom and the one i modified. I am using TL866A programmer as it is the only thing i have with me at the moment

when write the immo off file. the car starts then cuts out giving fault codes. Fuel Pump Kicks in fine

P1649 Powertrain Data Bus Missing Message from ABS ECU
P1523 Crash Signal from Airbag ECU Implausible Signal
p1650 Powertrain Data Bus Missing Message from Instrument Cluster

We have another car with a similar conversion, when his ecu is used, the car runs fine. I cannot really open his ecu due to it having a warranty tamperproof label on it with his tuning company

you need many more modifications to the ecu files than simply disabling immo for a proper conversion into older chassis.

Yes I know this as the car was running a emerald ecu prior to this but now want to get it started with this me7.5. Like I said the other me7.5 ecu starts the car fine but it’s off another car. How do I get this ecu to start the car ?
Also would like to add the clusters are still original

Cheers

Can it be a checksum issue? I’ve just noticed after plugged into the car then read the 95040 with tl866a the two bytes that are meant to be 02 change to 04

On block 91 in adaptations check what it says. For immo off the value should be 1. It's 4 bites that change for immo off if you're using a chip burner be sure to load your new file before writing otherwise you'll just be writing back the ori. If you need a swap file for the bam pm me Ivan help you out
