Nefmoto tells me all pre-requisites have been met, but it fails when it comes to reading or writing.

I can get the ECU Info from Nefmoto but when I go to read/write on the bench I get an error.

I can post logs later tonight. I put the ECU in the car and it flashes without problem.

I also used the 95040 tool and had no problem reading or writing with that.

If you post your log file later, then we can see what is going wrong.

Thanks for posting the log. I would suggest downloading and trying the new version 1.9.2.0 of the NefMoto software.

My guess is that the ECU is failing to enter programming mode because of an unsupported communication baud rate. The default communication baud rates were changed in version 1.9.2.0 of the NefMoto software because of this issue.

You can also test with again with the version of the software by changing the baud rate from "Maximum" to "10400" to see if that fixes your problem.

I would try again making sure the baud rate is 10400.

Another problem with it not working on the bench, is your power supply may not be stable or providing enough power.

I've got a couple ECU's that the immobilizer defeat has not enabled bench flashing on, and one that it did.

I've got a couple ECU's that the immobilizer defeat has not enabled bench flashing on, and one that it did.

But what happened when you tried to bench flash the ones where it did not work? Do you have a log file showing what happened?
