1.8t ayp, trying to just read the ECU.

I get the error alert box: Reading ECU flash memory failed.

Nefmoto reports
....
...
Successfully changed to new communication timings.
Requesting security access.
ECU reports that security access is not supported.
Starting diagnostic session.
Successfully started diagnostic session.
Negotiating communication timings.
Successfully changed to new communication timings.
Requesting security access.
Security access granted.
Requesting upload from ECU for address range 0x00800000 and ends at 0x0090000.
Request upload from ECU succeeded.
Starting data transfer.
 - once it reached 6%, other times didnt reach even 1% -  continued: -
Reading ECU flash memory failed. Trying to force ECU to recognize read operation is complete.
Disconnecting because no response was received for the Tester Present message.
Disconnected.
Reading ECU flash memory failed.

Well, this is the first thing I would like to do, to check whether is stock or not.

I've tried with memory layout 400, but it notified me that it's wrong. While if I use layout 800 it may go up to 6% while reading, before stopping with an error message. Before reading I lowered the baudrate to 10400. I also tried to do the reading with doors closed - same result  Embarrassed

I found two fuse layouts on the web for my car and both of them are wrong  Angry Somebody on the forum said removing the headunit fuse may help, but I haven't found out which is its fuse.

Checking if the ecu is stock involves more than just trying to read it.

Read in boot and compare against ORI.

May also need to open the ECU case and make sure there is no riser
